Food was good Service it's a little rushed -so try to check online for what is offered. A real nice lady was patient with me-had to ask her because this was my first go 'round. There's no real ambiance per se. Just a busy place in a neighborhood where a lot of people go- they could spruce it up a tad bit for those that might want to dine in. I'll be back why?! Glad you asked, the catfish (my Husband) was "bussin"! The dressing w/gravy was soooo good! The cornbread and the greens. I don't usually eat mac n cheese but licked the bottom on this small portion (I'll need to double my size next time). Chicken -baked (dry)wasn't my favorite so I'll try something else next time. It was a lil pricey for me for the portions but I get it per se recommend
The soul food is cooked really well. Only thing negative is the long ass lines. Overall try it for yourself.
The food was hot and delicious! All this for under $10. The wait is long. There will be a long line. Most people are carrying out the food.
Food was great. It was about a 30" drive for us and we would come back to get more again. Customer service was good. The interior was old. It's not a place you would want to seat down and eat. The line was LONG. We came at 615pm and got to the front to order at 650pm. The Mac n cheese was my favorite! Corn bread wasn't great, it was just regular corn bread. The yams was good, I would get it again. The turkey wings was really good and the ribs were A1. I like they have the bbq on the side. It was good!
Opens at 11 promptly and line starts forming about 10:45. The line moves quickly. Turkey wings were very good, so was the Mac n cheese. 2 good sized pork chops were good. Reasonable pricing and quantity I'd very good! $12 will get you a full day, all day plate! It's not great BUT it's pretty good!
The was a huge line but it moved so fast and the food was fresh and flavorful all the way through I'll be back. My plate was 12.00 dollars
